Welcome to AlgoQuiz ("we", "our", or "the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information AlgoQuiz collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
By downloading or using AlgoQuiz, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
All of the above data is stored exclusively in your device's local storage using AsyncStorage (a standard React Native on-device storage API). No data is ever uploaded to any server, database, or cloud service.
AlgoQuiz does not collect or access:
AlgoQuiz requests no sensitive device permissions. The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other system resource beyond what is necessary to run the application itself.
AlgoQuiz is a fully offline application. After the initial download and installation, the App does not require or use an internet connection for any feature. No network requests are made during normal App usage.
AlgoQuiz does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or similar services).
The App is built with Expo (an open-source React Native framework). Expo's managed workflow may include certain base-level libraries for build and update functionality; however, the App does not enable Expo OTA (Over-The-Air) updates or any Expo cloud services that would transmit user data.
All data created by AlgoQuiz is stored locally on your device and is entirely under your control. You can delete all App data at any time by:
We do not retain any copies of your data because no data is ever sent to us or to any external service.
AlgoQuiz is intended for users of all ages, including students in secondary and post-secondary education. Because the App does not collect any personal information from any user, it is safe for children under 13 (COPPA) and under 16 (GDPR/COPPA-K equivalents).
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data is governed by your device's own security mechanisms (PIN, biometrics, encryption). We do not have access to your data and therefore cannot be responsible for unauthorized access resulting from device compromise.
We recommend keeping your device's operating system updated and using a secure screen lock to protect your locally stored App data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable laws. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of AlgoQuiz after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
